St. John's freshman Dwayne Polee plans to transfer from the school because of a family health issue, the school announced on Sunday. "I really enjoyed my experience at St. John's and I'm going to miss the staff and New York," Polee said in a statement released by the school. "Right now I feel it is best to be close to my family and help us get through a health issue." "Dwayne is an outstanding individual with a bright future," said coach Steve Lavin. "He has been a valued member of our basketball family. He leaves St. John's University in good academic standing and we wish him well."
