Gators said it the best. This only the first of many invites to the ASG.

Congratz of course, he should be a starer.

OT: Wasn't Dwight the guy, who had a terrible game @ last year's Rookie vs Sophmore game ?

When he played for the rookies, he had 14points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist and 3 blocks...

A year later, on the sophmore's team, he had 4 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 block.

These games are all dominated by the guards though so I don't really expect him to put up monster stats.

I think he could get over 10 rebounds in the All-Star game. Interesting to see how he does in his 1st of many.

I hope that he shows the coaches that he is above of Shaq.

I'm late on this, but congrats to Dwight.

I think everybody that isn't a Heat/Shaq fan (even some of them) know that Dwight should be starting.

If only Shaq was a real man...

Congrats to Dwight, and he should definitely be starting. Maybe Shaq will pull a Vince (when he gave MJ the starting job) and give Dwight, a more deserving player, the starting job. The thought of Shaq starting and playing what, 6 games (?) is almost enough to make me ill.

Dunk contest and I'm assuming the guards will give him some alley oops.

Shaq already has said he won't give up his starting job and said that Dwight will "have to wait his turn." I'm sure Dwight will put on a show during the dunk contest and maybe have a couple nice plays during the game but I doubt he puts up good stats. Dwight can't get touches on our team, you think he's going to attempt a lot of shots when Gilbert Arenas, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade are all putting up shots around him? Doesn't seem very likely.
