<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Southern California wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett has selected an agent and will announce that he is entering the NFL draft at a 2 p.m. news conference at the school's Heritage Hall on Wednesday, two sources close to the situation said Tuesday night. The junior, a two-time All-American, had 70 catches for 1,015 yards and led the Trojans with 12 touchdowns this season. The 6-foot-5, 210 pound receiver with a track record of acrobatic catches, is considered a first-round prospect. When Jarrett arrived in Southern California from Brunswick, N.J., he was homesick and nearly transferred. But following in the footsteps of great Trojans receivers like Keyshawn Johnson and Mike Williams, he became an All-America receiver who will leave USC as the Pac 10's all time leader in touchdown catches. One question Jarrett will have to answer before the draft is about his durability. Jarrett did miss time with nagging shoulder and quadricep injuries this season. But he displayed all his considerable skill in what could be his last collegiate game. In the Trojans' 32-18 win over Michigan in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, Jarrett caught 11 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns. After the game he hadn't made up his mind about turning pro."That's the question everybody's asking me," he said. "I don't know yet."A week later his coach, Pete Carroll, looked at his professional options, speaking with Miami Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga about their vacant position. Carroll said on Tuesday that he was staying put. His star receiver, on the other hand, appears ready to make the leap to the NFL.</div>Mid 1st round? I think his vertical will be great at the combine but speed is still an issue. I think the Titans could use him.

If the Bears could draft him or Ginn in the 1st round, imagine the sets they could run: Berrian, Bradley, Hester, Jarrett/Ginn, Moose.

Apparently the vikings are eyeing him... I would love to see him in purple but that mike williams afterthought always scares me.

He's also better than Mike Williams was. Mike Williams was slow as crap, had decent hands, and really wasn't much of a show to watch. I think Jarrett can compete in the NFL, only to be a possession guy as a 2nd WR. I could see the Panthers going for one if they decide it's time for Keyshawn to leave, or he retires.

Dwyane Jarrett has MAD ups. And crazy hands.I always wondered what was so great about Mike Wiliams but Dwyane Jarrett has amazing athleticism except for speed. Plus he's a very crisp route runner, something that big time college wide receivers are bad at these days (Manningham, Ginn, Hervin are all straight vertical speed).Jerry Rice? Anyone? haha no I don't think Jarrett is close to being as good but in the right system, Jarrett should succeed. Atlanta could use him. Give Vick a reliable handed target. Or San Francisco, Alex Smith, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, and Dwyane Jarrett as the future for the offense would be quite good. And of course, Tennessee where Young could use a nice pair of hands.

Has Ted Ginn decided about going pro or no?? I would love the Bears to draft him. Just imagine the WR sets we could run w/ him, Berrian, Hester, and Bradley, and the kick return possibilites.
