Dwyane Wade may have misspoke last week when he said, "When I was in Miami..." but his word choice was quite curious especially since he has been airing his grievances with the Heat about his contract. Since he took a shorter deal last summer, Wade wants a raise and a long-term deal this offseason. The Heat, on the other hand, would prefer Wade to opt-in to his current contact, so they can have more financial flexbility in the future. The two have been at an impasse for a few weeks and free agency hasn't even officially started. The situation has gotten quite strange as members of Wade's circle have begun to comment on the whole ordeal. One of Wade's friends recently said that the Heat star was "upset" about the contract dispute. Wade's wife, actress Gabrielle Union, perhaps jokingly laughed about her husband staying in Miami in a reddit AMA (she also could've been laughing at the question itself). Even Wade's father, Dwyane Wade Sr., has commented about his son's situation in Miami. Appearing on "The Hot Corner," an Internet radio show, Dwyane Sr. had this very non-committal answer when he was asked about his son staying in Miami. This exchange happened at the 49-minute mark of the show: Host: We have a question from David in Miami. He wants us to ask you, "Is D-Wade going to stay with Miami next year?" Dwyane Sr.: You know I've heard that maybe two-to-three hundred times. And the best answer I can probably give to that is, you guys have had D-Wade ever since he came in the league, let's just pray with God that he stays here the rest of the way. - See more at: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...-son-playing-for-heat-lets-pray-that-he-stays
