When Joevan Catron saw teammate E.J. Singler put his shoulder down and drive toward the basket, he knew exactly what was coming next. "That running 1-footer off the glass," Catron said. "He works on that shot all the time in practice." Singler hit a bank shot from just inside the lane with 2 seconds left, and Oregon beat Creighton 71-69 on Friday night to win the College Basketball Invitational. In his final college game, Catron scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Ducks (21-18), earning tournament MVP honors. Singler finished with 15.
