The picture, posted on Twitter by AllGamesBeta, notes pre-order customers will gain “instant access” to “The Father of Mixed Martial Arts.” EA teased fans of a secret fighter reveal last week with a series of hints, revealing said secret fighter never fought in the UFC, would be playable in four weight classes, and was born “somewhere in the USA.” The final clue was a clear reference to the iconic outfit worn by Bruce Lee in Game of Death. UFC president Dana White has always had plenty of praise for martial arts legend Bruce Lee. “[T]he father of mixed martial arts, if you will, was Bruce Lee,” said White in a 2004 interview with Fight Times. “If you look at the way Bruce Lee trained, the way he fought, and many of the things he wrote, he said the perfect style was no style. You take a little something from everything. You take the good things from every different discipline, use what works, and you throw the rest away.” EA’s first UFC game since picking up the publishing rights to the sport following THQ’s closure, EA Sports UFC is set to feature around 100 fighters.
So lame. Bruce Lee is gonna blow in the game. I was hoping they would add Fedor, Couture, Rutten, and some of the old guys.
Given that Jones and Gustafsson have fought each other I'm surprised they didn't use, you know, a photo from one of their fights, instead of having them fighting nobody in cloud city.
