The final day of the 2014 NFL Draft has begun.

The Eagles got the ball rolling on the final four rounds by selecting Florida defensive back Jaylen Watkins with the 101st overall pick. They acquired the pick in a trade with the Texans on Friday when Houston moved into the third round to take defensive tackle Louis Nix. The Eagles also acquired a fifth-round pick in the deal.

Watkins played both cornerback and safety in Gainesville, giving the Eagles a piece that they could use in various ways in the secondary. Safety might be a bigger immediate need, but Watkins could earn snaps at either spot depending on how things work out over the summer.
