This seems like a great move for the Eagles. Curtis Deal: Eagles Strike Big In Free Agency On the Inside with Dave Spadaro from www.philadelphiaeagles.com
I like it, I was really hoping they'd sign him. Personally I'd rather have Curtis than Stallworth, and I'm willing to bet $100 Curtis out-produces Stallworth and starts the whole season. I'll also add that Stallworth most likely won't start more than 12-14 games next season, but hey, he's the Pats problem now.

NO Stallworth had what 1000 Receiving yards in like 13 games or something? Kevin Curtis is a decent wide receiver but he needs time to develop as a starter, he has never had consistent playing time so you can't predict he'll out do Stallworth.
Actually StallWorth has never had 1000 yards, and he only played 12 games last year at that, notching 725 yards and 5 tds. In 16 Games as a number 3 receiver Curtis had 479 yards and 4tds.
Curtis is just anopther average WR for the Eagles. Not sure whos going to be their #1 WR but curtis is a good 2nd/3rd

That's where he proved he could play on the outside. Last year was different, new offense focused around Steven Jackson and he still produced in the slot. In my eyes that's a bonus, a guy who can go deep and across the middle. What does Stallworth have? Speed and hamstring problems, and Curtis has the speed (4.21 forty). Reggie Brown will be the starter, who also had better numbers than Stallworth last year, in his SECOND year. He's the guy, not Curtis, or anyone else that the Eagles considered to sign.

The Eagles beat out the Minnesota Vikings and two other teams for the chance to land the heavily-coveted Curtis, who will be guaranteed $9.5 million in the deal. Rated by ESPN.com as the No. 23 player available in the unrestricted market, Curtis was one of the top players still remaining in the talent pool. The four-year veteran was one of the most popular unrestricted free agents from the outset of the signing period, but his courtship was delayed when he changed agents a week into the process.</div>
