With the Bills about to enter 2014 with both of its top running backs not signed beyond 2015, Buffalo made a move to give itself some depth at that position. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora confirms that the Eagles have traded running back Bryce Brown to the Bills for a conditional draft pick.

    That future pick would be either a 2015 fourth-rounder, a 2016 third-rounder or a 2016 fourth-rounder.

Bills running back Fred Jackson is entering the final year of his contract, while C.J. Spiller's current deal runs out after the 2015 season. Brown, meanwhile, is slated to make $550,000 in 2014 and $660,000 in 2015.
