<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Earl Boykins chances of being traded before the February 22nd deadline are "better than 50-50," according to a Western Conference executive that did not want to be revealed. The first source said a deal has been discussed that would send Boykins and Nuggets forward Eduardo Najera to Dallas in a three-team trade that would facilitate the Nuggets getting Philadelphia star Allen Iverson. However, the executive called that potential a "long shot."Nuggets vice president of basketball operations Mark Warkentien declined comment.Boykins is expected to opt out of his $3 million contract next summer and become a free agent and the Nuggets do not want to lose him for nothing.</div>I can't say I'm disappointed about Boykins leaving, I have never been a fan of his. The energy is great but that doesn't make up for his poor defense. He dribbles to much time off the clock, Other point guards can back him down easily all game, He forces shots. He hurts us more than helps us in my opinion.I would HATE to see Najera go, I love that guy.

Some team will overpay for him.

I'm glad Boykins is most likely gone. He is a ball hog mostly. He dribbles down the clock and either turns it over, takes a bad shot, or sometimes gives it away. He is a good spark off the bench, but he does more harm than good I think.Najera would be a tough loss. He is an amazing hustler, goes after every loose ball, the fans here love him, and he is a respectable man. How about we trade Smith instead lol.EDIT: Joe Smith that is. :happy0144:

Yeah, I don't blame you for wanting Boykins out. He's fun to watch, but he's not going to win you games. He has a great story coming into the league, but still, you need to face the reality.I could see Detroit making a push for him if they can't get Mike James. I'm not delighted by that news though.
