Star Tribune Like the other 29 teams in the NBA, the Timberwolves are faced with making player cuts over the next couple weeks. There are a handful of options, one of which could be third-year forward Ndubi Ebi. "You have to look where you have a need," coach Dwane Casey told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "Right now, our need is a perimeter position, because basically most of our bigs have been healthy." Source
That would be great, the only first rounder they had in years/for years (whatever) and now they're talking about cutting him, what a waste that would be.
Ebi is capable of being a good player, I really liked him ever since he got drafted, I thought he would go higher but he came to Minnesota and he's probably learned a lot by now from the great KG. Ebi shouldnt be cut they've spent lots of time developing him and he came straight out of high school so he's still quite young, he should be a good player once he finds some minutes.
i hope you guys dont cut him. he has a lot of potential and isnt that bad of a player. either way, im pretty sure he will have a home in the nba this season.
Have we ever gave him a chance? No he wans't the player we needed but he seems to do pretty well when given minnutes. And I heard that he would stay becuse he preformed well in the summer leauge and most of all on the defensive end where Casey likes improvment. Oh well I wouldn't be mad.
