I just saw an article saying George may retire this year because Tennessee can't afford to keep him. I say don't go! Go sign with a team that has a decent line and a true fullback to block for you!

I think he's still got gas in the tank and he's been getting a bad rap for his 3 yard average. That's what happens in the NFL when you try to run without a fullback and it's not the run and shoot.

I think he's done and should retire as to not embarrass himself any further. He was good in his day but just took way too much abuse in a short span.

I agree with sf, eddie george outta retire. His
best days are gone, fact is he was never the same
after that brutal war between him and ray lewis
in 2000 when the crows won the game and event
ually the superbowl. George was always overated
imo coming from college to the pros. Or let
me be more clearer overated for the salery he
    made in tenn.

Eddie George is the only back besides Jim Brown to rush for 10,000 yards without missing a game. That sounds like hall of fame qualifications to me.

I'm telling you guys...if he had a fullback and a decent line, he could rush for 1500 again.

no he is hall of fame back, he had no big runs in his career so he got 10k the hard way, and he doesnt fumble

Pack, remember them days when lorenzo neal
blocked for eddie? Those days are gone bro i
know you like the guy. But truth is eddie goerge
was never the same after all his injurys. 2 surgerys
on his turf toe was the first signs of him slipping.

Its hard to beleive deion sanders and charles woodson
say that turf toe is major! It effects your game play and
speed. This is clear eddie george the last 3 years.
Doesnt have his burst like he use to, when he hit
them holes. George carrer is like jerome bettis's
will he keep collecting pay checks or will he call it quits?

EDDIE can come to CHICAGO, oh wait you said he would do good for someone with a good line and he also needed someone to block for him, nevermind(LOL). Maybe one more year with the TITANS then retire ED. Plus I am trying to go to the BEARS at TITANS this year, I can get great seats, 3 rows back from the field and beside the BEARS tunnel.GO BEARS!!!
