QUOTE

Presently, agents and league sources confirm that the Celts are looking at four point guards and five big men as they try to find the right players to support their talented trio.

Eddie House, Troy Hudson, Brevin Knight and Charlie Bell are reportedly on the point guard list. Bell is a restricted free agent, which makes his situation a little different (Milwaukee can match any offer he gets).

http://celtics.bostonherald.com/celtics/vi...mat=&page=1
If we lose House to the Celtics I will be very upset. We all know how dangerous this dude can be when he gets open looks. Imagine how many he will get with them.

QUOTE (cpawfan)

Calling House a PG is hilarious.
He'd be a nice scoring spark off the bench (which is the case anywhere he goes)...but if a team is looking at him as their answer for PG...they're in trouble.
And I want to be the father of Christina Aguilera's baby.
Ok he has a better shot than I do... regardless I think the Celtics should make a pitch at Brevin Knight.
-Petey

And Eddie House signs with Boston.
We finally have a productive bench in years and he lets a big part of it walk.

Damn. We lose Adams then House to a Atlantic rival. Oh, I cant wait to see who the replacement is! :rolls eyes:

What a little traitor going to a division rival. Can't say Thorn didn't bring it upon himself. I can only pray we get a replacement who will make waiving Hassan somewhat worth it.

QUOTE (Premier)

The Celtics need a guy that will hand the ball off to Pierce or Garnett, defend, and hit open shots.

Eddie House will do, roughly, one of those three things.

QUOTE (reganomics813)

What a little traitor going to a division rival.

A key bench player jumps ship to a divisional rival? That worked GREAT for Rodney Rodgers.
It should be fine for the Celtics though. I'm sure House has a similar brain type to Scalabrene.

Haha but Rodney was fat as hell. Come to think of it House was lookin' a little pudgy. I think Eddie's a different case than Scal and RR because of what he's done before here on Miami, Sac, Phoenix, etc. nobody in Boston is expecting him to be anything more than he is and has been and he has a vet min deal.
We actually do pretty well when our players leave us.
Harris went to the Cavs...eh
Scalabrine is on the Celtics...but doesn't play so you wouldn't really know
Kenyon went to the Nuggets...and doesn't play
Mikki Moore went to the Kings...and is down on the depth chart
Ron Mercer went to jail...and his career is over
