"It was perfect here for me, close to home, good teammates. It was a blessed situation." House said his agent, Mark Bartelstein, has been in contact with other possible suitors, including Seattle, Cleveland and Miami, which drafted him in the second round in 2000 and employed him for three seasons.</div> Sacramento Bee. I think he'd be a solid, cheap back-up for Luke. At 6'1 his size may be a concern, but he is a deadly outside shooter and seems pretty safe with the ball. If Flip is backing up Ray, then it would be better to have another outside threat in the backcourt I think, something Cleaves doesn't provide. Also, both Derek Anderson and Doug Christie will likely be released under the new 'Allan Houston' rule with the CBA. Now, people might have moral objections to seeing Christie as a Sonic, and Anderson is injury prone, but either could be a nice veteran to have on board on the cheap.
He would be a great addition. I wanted the Bobcats to keep him, but House was the odd man out because Knight and Hart were putting up great numbers. His man to man defense needs a bit of work, but his off the ball defense is excellent because he is super quick which leads to a lot of steals.
I know him mostly from his days at ASU where he scored like 60pts in a game. At Sac he seemed to get warm against occasionally but he's always struck me as a 6-1 shooting guard.
