If it's true, it will most likely be terrible or it could be really good. I doubt it's good.

First thing that came to mind.

 

He's funny.... in 83... now.... maybe

 

Yea, it's funny how much acting changes from one decade to the next.

 

I dunno if it's funny, more sad. RAW and Delirious were classic.

 

this is bull, they arent doing robin at all, bale said he would rather die than be seen in another batman film if robin was involved, same as nolan, nolan is interested in creating something good, something worthwhile, not a big star fest with corny characters like robin. but, about eddie, that would be pretty interesting actually.

anyway, the thing that gives it away is the set for 2010. the last 2 nolan/batman films have been announced or rumored 2 or 3 years earleeir than release, theres no way they could get a whole movie in the works, right after dark knight and have it out by next year, impossible.

 

The riddler won't be topped by Jim Carey, his quirky acting style was perfect for it. and that Shia guy is annoying me, he's a good actor but he is in every big film.

 

This was proven just to be a bad rumor, THANK GOODNESS

Thank the hollywood gods, that its just a rumor. There was a rumor of Johnny Depp playing the Riddler. Hmm I guess a merky gothy emo type Riddler would be interesting to see.

 

Jim Carey was great as the Riddler.

 

Depp would be great as the Riddler. I hope they don't incude Robin in the next film, it would destroy the movie. I'm hoping it's something like The Dark Knight.

 

I think Depp would make a good Riddler too.

Doesn't seem likely since Bale said he would bail if they added Robin to the series. Leave Robin for future producers and writers with different actors for Batman,etc.
