And despite sporting an odd-looking brace on his injured right shoulder, both Curry and coach Isiah Thomas proclaimed the hulking center a sure thing to start in tomorrow's preseason game against Boston. "It was good. I killed Malik [Rose], Jerome [James], all the usual suspects. I felt good," said Curry, who wasn't hindered or shielded from contract at all yesterday. "We were just playing. Well, the knicks will surely need his talents this upcoming season. He's the main key IMOto their possible fight for the post season.</p>
IT may not be appreciated as a GM, but as a coach he's been quite good. Last year's Knicks didn't do all that great, but it seemed to me they were going in the right direction. As much as the team's fortunes are tied to Curry's growth as a player, the possible distractions from the lawsuit could be an issue.</p> </p>
