Why dont we go for Eddy Curry? He is not getting good offers from any teams and we need a centre badly i really dont wanan start the season with Hoffa as starting centre i think Curry would be a great addition to our team
Well, from what I know we already have 15 gauranteed contracts, Curry has a heart condition and we have Villanueva and Araujo. That said getting Curry would hinder all the development we could possibly expect from Araujo and Villanueva, I think we brought him in to be a big man not stay on the wing and play the 3 like Odom does, whom he's often compared to.
Well their is the problem of money, we can't just go signing people out of nowhere when we're over the cap and have used most of out exeption money. I don't think Curry was being had for MLE money anyways, he'll probalby get a fairly big contract.
Like Buckets said, he's got a bad heart and I hear he gained more than just a few extra pounds. There is still time to move people around, and I still think the Raps will get something done before the season starts.
How could we possibly sign Eddy Curry?!? Saying we COULD sign an offer sheet for, what, 1 million per year, Chicago would be laughing because we would have saved them about 9 million per year when they match our offer. We should have just went after Shaq!
