In fiction of course, but what would happen? Some television show made a video clip a while back of what they believe would happen if a EF5 tornado hit the city or any other major metropolis. Pretty interesting. Anyone remember the tornado that hit downtown Salt Lake City?

I imagine it would be a lot like the scene from The Day After Tomorrow. And I was actually in Marlyand on vacation when a tornado hit downtown SLC, but from what I remember it was a pretty small one that only damaged the Delta Center a little. But a few people died I think.

Edit: Hmm, I guess it was a strong F2: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_Lake_City_Tornado ... 1 person died and 170$ million dollars in damage. Ok it wasn't that small.

That would be pretty damn scary. Tornadoes are really rare where I live(*knocks on wood*) , thank goodness.

I don't have flash installed at the moment, but I'm guessing this is from National Geographic: Ultimate Tornado. Yeah, it's quite intriguing. They also had Ultimate Earthquake and Ultimate Tsunami. The scariest one is the Ultimate Earthquake, because while it was still unlikely to happen anytime soon (it will probably eventually happen though), it could trigger the Ultimate Tsunami as well.
