Okay, guys... My big draft is tomorrow (I think this is almost the tenth year) and I have some questions about players that you guys might be able to answer.

    *************

    1. Chester Taylor - How's he looking in Minny? Is he the man or will Mewelde Moore overtake him?

    2. Roy Williams - Looking good? Who's going to be #2 in Detroit this year?

    3. Corey Dillon - Is he back? Still #1? Or is Lawrence Mauroney going to be the man?

    4. Philly Receivers - Reggie Brown looks like the only decent prospect, right?

    5. Colts Backs - Joseph Addai? Do you guys think he'll be #1 on the depth chart by week one?

    6. Bears - Thomas Jones or Cedric Benson? I don't think anyone knows the answer to this.

    7. Denver - Tatum Bell? Or is Mike Bell still looking to be #1? I think I'll avoid this entirely.

    8. Reggie Bush - How early would you draft him?

    9. Chad Jackson - Is he going to be #2 in New England this year?

    10. Carolina - Is DeShaun Foster still the man there? Or is he ripe to be unseated?

    11. NY Jets - Martin is out... Is Kevan Barlow #1 in New York right now?

    **************

If you guys have any insights on any of these, I'd appreciate it.

    my answers...

1.i hear taylor is ready to run and take the #1 spot...

2.roy williams is a stud, charles rogers and mike williams are soooooooo out of shape...

3.dillon will start at the begining of the season but dont be surprised to see maroney take over later on...dillon will get the goal line situations i think...

4.im not sold on reggie brown, havent heard much bout him either...

5.no, it will shift between rhodes and addai...addai is a better pass blocker so expect him to still get time whether he carries the ball more then rhodes is the question...

6.Thomas Jones is a stud...he is huge and not injury prone...only problem is he doesnt get along with the coaches...benson will get his chances but hes no tj

7.it seems that the broncos leap frogged mike bell to the #1 so that tatum and dayne would start to pick up their game...only thing is the broncos didnt realize how good mike bell was...he looked very impressive in his preseason start...and tatum and dayne didnt...expect him to start and with a good line he could be the real deal...

8.i personally am not sold on reggie bush as an nfl player i would take him late 5th early 6th...if you draft him beware...rookie rbs have a tendency to burn you...

9.i have no idea...i know he sorta hurt right now...if branch doesnt sign then caldwell and jackson will be the starters it seems...i would be careful bout drafting him depending on the size of the league you may never get to a situation where have to draft him...

10.DeS is pro'ly gonna be the starter...DeA will still get time and kick returns...his cutting ability challenges bush's ability in my opinion...DeS is easily injured and DeA is not a bad pick up...

11.martin is not out yet...just out of shape...barlow is the new man in town but blaylock has a better chance as starter...i say avoid jets rbs altogether...

    1. Chester Taylor- he could definatly be a steal in the later rounds he should be the #1 guy

    2. Roy Williams - definatly take a good look at him he showed he was awesome before he got injured and now hes got a better QB throwin to him. Idk who the #2 man will be

    3. Corey Dillon - the general idea is that if you are going to take Dillion you should take Maroney in the later rounds hes apparently looking great

    4. Philly Receivers - not really sure but there arent really any high profile guys on the Eagles team but you gotta think Reid like last year is gonna be overly pass happy again so the #1 WR will get the ball

    5. Colts Backs - well they were really lookin for Rhodes to be the starter but Addai has surprised them so i wouldnt be surprised if Addai was the starter soon but i think week 1 is too soon

    6. Bears - Thomas Jones or Cedric Benson? probably Jones for now

    7. Denver - Tatum Bell? Or is Mike Bell still looking to be #1? Mike Bell is looking like the starter in Denver and you know i wouldnt avoid it entirely because Shanahan does great things with running backs. But if you draft one u'll probably have to draft the other for safety reasons

    8. Reggie Bush - 3rd or 4th at the very earliest i would let someone else take a chance on the guy and but hes a huge risk if hes there later then maybe take a chance but i'd stay away

    9. Chad Jackson - not sure its probably wide open over there but as Cowherfrown said you should probably not need to take him hes a last round type guy cause there are no guarentees

    10. Carolina - Foster gets injured so much he could get unseated anytime, i wouldnt go near that situation

    11. NY Jets - another situation that u just dont want to get urself involved with, its wide open at the RB spot and i would just stay away lol

your asking a lot of questions about running backs my advice to you is try and get ur backs early in the first two rounds so you dont even need to worry about the running back battles. But if you are going to go with some of the rb training camp battles your best bet would be with the Broncos because year in and year out they produce 1000+ yard backs look at last year with Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell. go with patterns and always have a backup plan when drafting them like if you get Mike Bell you definatly should get Tatum or if you get Dillion definatly draft Maroney.

I'm only going to answer the 2 questions pertaining to the Patriot's...

Regarding the Pat's RB situation. Dillon is still the man, but he does look slow in comparison to Maroney which comes as no surprise. I feel by mid season Maroney will be receiving the majority of the hand offs from Brady. However Dillon will probably see more action in the goalline situations.

We have yet to see Chad Jackson due to injury, so I wouldn't draft him unless you're in a keeper league. I generally stay away from rookie WRs as they rarely have immediate success in the NFL. With the Branch situation I suspect our starters at WR going into the opener will be Reche Caldwell & Troy Brown. However the top receiving target will be Ben Watson.
