    That would be a shame. Nobody wins by forcing the fighters to the sideline. They are people, not just an "asset".

    This is true. Fighters such as Scott Smith that were banking on a pre-Christmas paycheque are now scrambling to get their bills paid.

    luckily some fighters should be able to fight in Japan, like Nick Diaz has announced because their contracts stated they could fight in Japan so long as it didn't get in the way of fighting for Elite.. and that's not an issue for any fighter now.

    ^ True, but these Japanese feds are notorious for not paying their imported fighters on time or in full.
