An aide to Tennessee Rep. Stephen Fincher said President Barack Obama’s daughters were not classy on a recent television appearance. She later apologized. Elizabeth Lauten wrote her post on Facebook a letter to the girls, suggesting they act and dress more appropriately at public events. “I get you’re both in those awful teen years, but you’re part of the First Family, try showing a little class.” She called them out for making faces and dressing like they were at a bar during televised events. She reposted a screenshot of the sisters looking bored at the recent Thanksgiving pardoning of the turkey. Lauten did not end her criticism with the girls: “Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter,” she wrote.
