This is good news for us. Apparently Mitch only wanted a 13 man roster this year, so there was little to no chance for Elonu to make the squad. Now, he gets a chance to develop overseas, and we keep his rights. I remember when he was drafted, one of the analysts said that if he had stayed in school for another year, he could've been a 1st round pick. Hopefully he continues to develop and work on his game, because he's extremely raw.
