Wow. It sounded like he'd miss the whole season, but the Yahoo article says just the first "few" months.</p> </p>

I just cant believe that he would miss only the first few months. I know it isnt basketball, but I used Takeo Spikes as an example previously. He missed a full year after tearing his Achilles. I hope Brand comes back, but I cant see him even being close to ready before the All-Star break. Even after that, we might be pretty far out of the playoff hunt, if that is the case I would rather brand recover to 100% before he steps on that floor. The last thing we need is for him to aggrivate that injury or create a new injury and miss even more time.
