He was top-5 in blocks-per-game and top-10 in scoring and rebounding.Brand was the key player on the first respectable Los Angeles Clippers team in decades and this time around, he?s finally getting his props</div>.
Kg is higher then duncan in one list and now Elton brand is ranked number 1 on another?Aaron Bronsteter needs to be shot.

That's 5 franchise players. But I always say this about Brand: He is the most undererrated player of the last 10 years. He puts up Tim Duncan numbers, only thing is that he's never won a title (or 3, mind you). But he's always been a top big man in the NBA, he just never got his props until this year because he was on the Clippers. I'm so happy he's finally winning, because he's getting the credit he deserves. He is one of the best players in this league.
I think Elton Brand is in the top 4 mix, he can honestly be #1 or #4, these guys are so close it's hard to make a top list.
I think if he can lead his team to the finals, he would be either #2 or #1 right behind Dirk. He already put up better numbers then TD last season and KG probably won't ever make it past the WCF. He has to average the same numbers or better then he did last season, lead his team far in the playoffs and he would get consideration as the #1 PF in the league. Winning an MVP wouldn't hurt either, but I see LeBron/Kobe winning that.
No, I don't think he's the best power forward in the league now. He's talented but I rank KG, Duncan and Dirk over him.
Thats ridiculous. He has only had one great season, whereas guys like KG, Dirk, Duncan have been posting stud-like numbers for a long time. Also, KG and Duncan or better defenders and shot blockers than Elton Brand.

Hes a career 20/10 guy with 2 BPG. Tim Duncan is already past his prime, I doubt he will put up the same numbers he did in the 04-05 season again. Depending on how KG and Duncan do next season, it will be possible to say hes the second best at least behind Dirk.
Yeah, by that I meant he has only had one truly stud season (KG, or Duncan-esque). He has been very good for a while, but only one of the bests in the League last year.

You obviously didnt read my post above. I just explained that I meant he had one stud, KG-esque season. He has obviously been a 20/10 guy from the beginning. Everyone knows that..
And don't forget to mention he's a very complete player, he has a lot of effective post moves, he's worked very hard on his mid-range shot and plays top-notch/tough post defense. Gotta love Elton Brand.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>well, 20/10 like 7 years in a row is considered great to me</div>You're still not understanding CB4. he means stud seasons. In other words, a season like 25/10, second round of the playoffs, and so forth. Elton Brand has been pretty consistent, yes. But he hasn't had great seasons (and he hasn't even had 20/10 all those years). He is now so underrated, he's overrated. Well, not overrated, but he's being placed too high on lists like those (at least on RealGM, anyway).
What seperates Elton from the rest is that he can rebound... and score...But he is not near the passer of Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan, and has inferioir range compared to KG, TD, and Dirk. Plain and simple he doesn't have their skill set, and more importantly doesn't have their overall resume. At this point in time, the players they are now, you can make a case for Brand. He was a better scorer/rebounding threat than any Power Forward last year if I'm not mistaken, and he led the Clippers much further than they should have gone. However, I think Tim Duncan's phenomenal playoff series against Dallas keeps him at #1
Yeah Brand's lack of range really hurts against some of the athletic centers. Diop has his number and Dampier wasn't bad either. If he had more range he could exploit that matchup.
