Eminem is so different than the one we used to know and love it is almost scary. It is okay, i'm happy he is healthy now. Still one of the best of all time.

Unfortunately Recovery doesnt come close to the MMLP, SSLP, or Eminem Show.

"pull his D*ck from the dirt and F*** the whole universe"
"trying to exorcise these demons -- they're doin' jumping jacks now!"

Wow. Man's a genius. Don't really like the bridge of "Not Afraid", though.

I agree. His punch lines are still strong. He is still clever. It is just his delivery that isn't as good (IMO).

    For example... **Explicit Language**

    That is classic Eminem.

I'm not a fan of rap/hip hop... but the "Not Afraid" song is pretty good. In the video, is that the same basement they used for "That 70's Show"? :) All the other songs linked in the thread didnt catch my attention.

'Drop The World' and 'On To The Next One' by Jay-Z are the best hip-hops songs this year!

Eminem is hilarious when he takes himself too seriously. He was addicted to pills, so he goes to rehab and gets rid of the bleached hair. Wow! I can't take the dude seriously when he tries too hard to be serious.

^I agree. But hell, Em hasn't been on top of his game since 03.

I miss the old Eminem with his sick jokes and stuff like in the Slim Shady LP and MMLP.

Still, he is probably a top 5 rapper out right now even at this point in his career. Arguably the best alive if we are talking about career as a whole.

Nope. He is right up there with Kool G Rap, KRS-One, Rakim, Nas, Jay, and a majority of Wu Tang as the best rappers alive.

Big L, IMO, is the best of all time.

*Race has nothing to do with it*

Though I must admit, the song SEDUCTION is sick as hell. I like his flow in it. Starts at the 45 second mark, and it is NSFW!
