Looks like he's history, if you believe this one. It could be true, I thought he was a bit hesitant on Saturday too. A more courageous challenge would have stopped that goal, and he did seem to flinch a bit at the last second, looking away from the ball. That was a critical miss for a top flight goalie to make, and showed he might be ready to move on. We need a goalie with complete dedication to the win, not self preservation. I think this article might say it all for VDS, and we will have Foster next year as a starter. FOX Sports on MSN - England - End of days at United for Edwin
That's not even saying he'll be leaving, it's just explaining how if Ben Foster comes to the club that he'll definitely be their first choice keeper.
They'll definately recall Ben Foster but I still think VDS is a quality keeper they shldnt brush him aside just yet hes had quite a good season, I know it wont happen but I think they should rotate the keepers for the first part of next season to see who performs better.
i dnt think he'll leave.. he might get replaced, but he will still get game coz hes a great keeper.. but even if they do rotate them to see who performs better, that still doesnt show whos doing better coz your team can have good and bad days, sometimes you work a lor, other days you hardly need to do anything, and different teams play differently and have different quality players..

He's under contract for a while and United want to keep him around as a goalkeeping coach once he retires.
