He frustrates the hell out of me. I would rather have Price, Karl, Barton, Wes or Batum play bu pg ahead of Nolan. I'm thinking even Meyers would make a better pg.

In 17 minutes tonight he was 0 for 6 from the field. He had ZERO assists and three turnovers.

Nolan Smith is a garbage. What a waste of a 1st round pick!

I was trying to stay positive about Nolan, but his play has not been encouraging.

We can start making the case this blazer bench could be one of the worst in nba history or at least in franchise history. There's d league teams that have better benches!

Carlito, you do realize that the Blazers bench just finished playing a fourth quarter against golden state starters and played them pretty well.

I know you are just trying to be a douche troll, but bad timing.

2 rebounds in 27 minutes at the PF position! Get rid of him! Aldridge sucks!

I agree his shooting is horrible. I think Coby Karl should be signed and Nolan Smith dropped.

Despite the fact i made a critical comment in the game thread; i am not ready to give up on him. He at least went to the basket and tried to do some things (that didn't succeed). He did have a good summer league game before his injury. Maybe he just needs some time in D-league.

At least we aren't 0-5 in the preseason like the Lakers are. :ghoti:  :biglaugh:

So I guess our team couldn't be worse.

Is the premise of this thread really that an end-of-bench player is getting playing time in the PREseason? What is the PREseason here for then?

Although, I agree as a diehard NCAAB'er, that as talented as Nolan Smith is, there's really not a real place for him in the NBA.

Imagine how Coby Karl feels, knowing that he's going to get cut AGAIN but Nolan has a guaranteed contract.

It was funny to watch Jarrett Jack last night - he was Nolan back in the day. Boy, we thought we had it bad then...

I still think Nolan will carve out a career. Just probably not in the NBA. He probably needs to be far away from anybody who knows who Kenneth Faried is.
