Eric Williams Wants out of Toronto

    He's a defensive-minded veteran who can guard both forward spots and does not demand the ball on offense, although he does have the ability to spread the floor with his shooting ability if needed.

    His contract is $12mil for 3 years, which is small potatoes compared to what we're paying for PF's right now.

    Yes, get him.

    Being a Torontonian myself who watches quite a few Raptors games, Williams is not the type of player we want. He is undersized at the four, doesn't have a consistent shot, and doesn't have a true position. Williams is slow guarding threes, and simply will not get a lot of rebounds in the West. I won't mind us getting him, but not at the expense of Padgett and Howard losing minutes. They're doing an admirable job at the four right now, and I think we should stay with these two.
