Eric Wynalda, USA's 2nd all-time leading scorer and former soccer commentator, has been trying to get back into the game working with players on the pitch. Since he's been seemingly blacklisted from the US circles, likely due to various comments he's made on ESPN and Fox Soccer, he's moving to Mexico in a youth development role.

Here's an ESPN Soccernet article on his new job. He's at a youth side set up like the Bradenton Academy in Florida, except this is one of the 300 or so (number fabricated by me) in Mexico, as compared to the one we have in the US.

A bit more from Yanks Abroad, detailing exactly what his job is (not really like I stated above). Wynalda will serve as the Director of International Development, a position where he will be based in California and funnel American youth players down to Murcielagos FC in Mexico's third division. Not such a fan of this now. While the US have yet to lose a player of significance to Mexico, I'd rather not get in the habit of funneling dual-national players down there, though having Wynalda involved might keep them interested in playing for the US.
