Former three time world champion Erik Morales (51-7, 35 KO’s) has been added to the undercard for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Victor Ortiz pay-per-view fight on September 17th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Morales, 34, will be facing little known British lightweight Anthony Crolla (21-2, 9 KO’s) in a fight to beef up the card. It doesn’t matter that the vast majority of casual boxing fans in the United States will have no clue who Crolla is, because Morales’ name will enough to lure a lot of fans to order the card. However, it might not be a bad fight because Morales isn’t the same fighter he once was and he struggles against pretty much everyone they put him in with nowadays.
