    Esbjorn Svennson, the Swedish jazz pianist, died a few days ago in a scuba diving accident. He was 44. He founded a group called E.S.T. (standing for Esbjorn Svensson Trio), and they achieved what amounted to rock star status in Sweden. He was a tremendous pianist and received a lot of critical acclaim. They released about ten albums; the most popular might be "Strange Place for Snow" Check him out if you have a chance.
