If you think about it, LeBron and Dwayne Wade are the # 2 & #3 top offensive players in the game. Kobe's undisputed # 1. Neither LeBron or Dwane Wade are anywhere near the top defenders in the League. Kobe's top 5 as indicated by his consistently being voted to All-NBA Defensive first team. add it up. The gap between Kobe LeBron and Dwayne Wade is bigger than people realize.
Best guard no doubt. But, I always go for the big men. And it's either Tim Duncan or Kevin Garnett at this point, IMO.

Kobe's the better defender out of all the 3, but I still think that it's a tad bit overexaggerated....this isn't one of the greatest defensive players we're talking about here, I still say Bron and Wade > Kobe although it's debatable.

It is like saying Aaron Burke > Shaq because well....I just think he's better. I's just pure on opinion and has nothing to do with unbiases opinion. Individually, Kobe is the best (the same reason the arthor stated). However when it comes to team impact, basketball-wise since the game is still a team-game, I say Tim Duncan is still the reigning champion. Also we're not talking about the greatest defender in nba history, we're talking about the one of greatest individual dedender in his position.

Seriously I hate all these people that are saying Lebron and Dwade are better than Kobe they say kobe cant pass and only gets 5 assits Thats pretty good if Kobe only has Lamar while Dwade has antoine walker, shaq, payton, jason williams, posey and lebron has illguaskas damon jones, larry hughes. They have a better supporting cast. If kobe was on either Miami or Clevland he would be getting like 9 assits and his defence Lebron gets crossovered all the time D wade is ok in defence but not comparable to kobe. Kobe is intelligent in passing, scroing, and defence, he can also shoot the three ball (Doesnt he have the most threes in one game) He can dunk, steal the ball, and gets blocks. Just because Kobe is injured right now and Lebron is having a pretty good start doesnt mean that Lebron is better than Kobe. Lebron is good but I think will never be as good as the legend KOBE BRYANT
