On my first try, Memphis got 1st, Atlanta got 2nd, Boston slipped to 3rd, and Philly got 6th. Hope that happens in real life.

We have to face each other a lot of time each year, so obviously I don't want your teams to do well. My preference is for the best players to go to the Western Conference, but the next best thing is to have them out of the division.
Yeah, but you play Atlanta just as much as Boston or Philly, so you shouldn't be too thrilled about them drafting Oden or Durant.
My first try - for real - the Bucks got #1...but it said we'd take Durant Hell, if the Bucks get this year's #1, they'd damn well better trade that bad boy, because there will not be a more valuable or sought-after #1 pick for years and years.

BTW - ESPN has Memphis taking Joakim Noah over Brandan Wright if they get the #3 pick. What the hell's the logic behind that one?
1st: memphis - greg oden 2nd: boston - kevin durant 3rd:charlotte - brandan wright i also noticed that every time i do it, josh mcroberts goes 12th to chicago. are there any other players that stay at the same spot and go to the same team EVERY time?
Sweet, first time i tried i got: 1) Philadelphia - Oden 2) Memphis - Durant 3) Charlotte - B.Wright 4) Boston - Noah 5) Milwaukee - J.Wright

Maybe I'm nuts, but I think their stock can get higher, and if Oden and/or Durant declares this year, it only increases their stock for 2008. I would have a tough time picking between the two right now, but I'd probably end up taking Noah. He doesn't have the upside of Wright - honestly, Wright has more potential in all areas of the game because of his amazing athleticism and wingspan. However, Noah is an effort guy and a defender, and I think he's got a lot more playmaking ability than Wright. I know, I know. But I'd take Noah, too, because he's the type of guy I want on my team. Besides, he'll probably stay in school while Horford declares. Then, he'll have another year to refine his skills and complete his offensive repetoire.

I've seen him play like 10 times and I've yet to be impressed.

He gets a lot of publicity because he was the poster boy of their title run last season, because he's 7'0", and because he's so obnoxiously excitable. I personally find that last quality very annoying and see it as being sort of arrogant, but a lot of people are endeared by that and point to it as "heart." This kid's destined to fizzle in the NBA though. He has no post moves whatsoever. Besides, I don't get why some teams, like the Grizzlies or Celtics, would take Noah, but then other teams, like Charlotte or Philadelphia, would take Brandan Wright. They both play the same position, and it's only early March. Is it that apparent that they favor Noah over Wright at this point?
