Do we really want a guy we need to groom? I suppose the raps arent going to be contending soon and if we resign marion for 3-4 years it would be okay.

I dont think any of the point guards in this years draft will be worth it from the position we're drafting.

Theres a very good chance James Harden falls to us at 8. I dont see any of the teams ahead of us wanting to draft a shooting guard. Only teams ahead of us that might want to draft Harden is minny and GS. Minny didnt keep OJ Mayo from last year's draft so they must be happy with Randy Foye. Golden state might go for him but they seem to have a thing for long athletic forwards so they'll probably go for aminu or earl clark.

The thing is, judging Harden from his NCAA tourny play I dont know if he would be worth taking.

I'd much rather have Clark then Aminu. Aminu just doesn't seem NBA ready.
