Says aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. I agree 100% and that is sad. ESPN radio is full of morons but this guy actually was correct.

Injuries or not they look very slow and stiff right now. Big problems even getting pucks through the neutral zone. And then there's that shooting % thing. Their dmen just dont do enough offensively.

Did the Rangers show up for the Minnesota game? In 18 seconds Wild take 2 goal lead in the second period.
Watching the Rangers play catch up should be fun!
Lundqvist is outta this game. Wow, he has really declined. Three of the four goals should never
    had gone in.

Take this guy out of the net please. As usual the team is thinking more about jewelery shopping on 5th ave than winning into the break.

Hopefully this is the last year of the chewing cow behind the bench.

Will maybe sneak in as a wild card team and get bounced in the first round again.

Might as well think about firing his ass soon, to be honest. I dont care about the record they have. The pens fired their coach last year and hired sullivan and has taken off since.

This lineup is soft as hell. This is why they get trashed by teams

^^^^^ we are looking at another wild card entry from New York. Washington and Pittsburgh
Will fill 2 of the three spots in the Metro. Columbus with all their games in hand will prolly
fill in the 3rd spot. Rangers will be on the outside with a WC seed.

Funny, that's about where I thought they may finish. Their very strong opening games filled
our heads of grand things this season, then came the injuries and Henry's inconsistent play.

Well Cage, I will definitely stay away come Playoff time unless they start playing better. This Board will be in an uproar for sure.

Not sure what to do with AV. Still have 3 key guys out. Graves is going to be a stud. The left side on defense will be amazing with McDonagh, Skjei and Graves. The right side just sucks. It's a huge problem. This falls on the Rangers not puttting any emphasis on drafting righty defenseman high. What they really could use is a Trouba but I just don't know what it would cost. You probably are looking at giving up 5-6 players for this one player. Something like Zbovorskiy, Holden for this year, Halverson, Hayes and maybe a Lindberg. They may want another goalie prospect instead of Holden like Huska. They may want Raanta.

^^^^that is just insane to give all that up. Not having good R D men falls on the GM.
I do not think Gorton will make a Sather-like move.

It's not really that insane. If your top 4 can't stop the best teams out there. You aren't winning the cup. Right now this team top 4 can't do that. Plus, moron AV benches Skjei and refuses to admit Girardi can't play any longer. Zborovskiy has really exploded this year in juniors. However, he's a lefty D. So is Sean Day who has taken a big step up. Hayes to me is replaceable. They have a much better chance of drafting a Hayes type than getting a Trouba type. His type goes top 10 in drafts. Halverson is probably behind Shesterkin as far as future goalies of this team go. Lindberg most likely will be replaced by Nieves who AV loves. So what in the deal other than Hayes is going to be a player who has a spot open for him on this team in the distant future?

They pretty much have no flexibility with the cap if they don't want to trade a guy they actually need unless they can convince Staal to accept a trade. That to me is the key to everything. They have to get this guy to accept a trade. Then they can buy out Girardi.

Only thing that will save them is that Shattenkirk will sign with them next year like the entire hockey world already knows. He is a die hard, Rangers fan and has made it quite clear he wants to sign here.

And the way this league rotates head coaches, who's to say AV stays here another 3 years.

Yes all things being equal he will sign here. But the only thing I worry about with Shatty is that he doesn't even make it to UFA. The max we can afford to offer him is maybe 5.5m per. If another team grabs him at the deadline, or traded for his rights in the offseason, and offers him a Yandle deal for 7m per, does he want to leave that kind of money on the table just to play in NY? Not sure. For that reason I think we need to grab him at the deadline or we may never get the chance. We need him, or a player like him, in the worst way. His shot and defensive game is much better than Yandle's and he's a righty. He checks all the boxes.

Find a way to get Roussel and Shattenkirk, or players like them, in here by the deadline. Use the goalie prospects and one of Graves or Day. With McDonagh and Skjei here, there's only a third pair spot on the left for the foreseeable future.
