Are SUPPOSEDLY already talking about a Eric Bledsoe + DeAndre Jordan trade for Eric Gordon and Robin Lopez. http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/nba/rumors/post?id=7705
The Clipps backcourt will consist of two players with major knee concerns. Remember, Chris is bone-on-bone in his left knee. MF surgery WAS on the table last summer for Gordon.
Yup. Sign and trade CP3 to LA for Kobe's Expiring Contract. Or, LAL amnesties Kobe and trades Pau for CP3. Any way you slice it, LAL has to sign CP3 to keep Dwight a Laker.
CP3 looks to be staying with the Clippers. They are dumping Jordan like we all said they would and trading Bledsoe like we all said they would. (And CP3 said as well) The interesting thing is the only player out of these 4 that the consensus in this forum wanted for Portland was......... Robin Lopez.
If true, Bledsoe and Jordan for Gordan and Lopez - is a good deal for Pelicans IMO. Super athleticism!! Adding them to Anthony Davis, Austin Rivers will be good in a few years.
It's not a bad deal for NOH, because they are getting rid of a unhappy Gordon and his huge contract. But they are getting two guys who can not shoot.
At least Gordon can play to the level of his contract, something you can't say about Jordan. Honestly, when you compare Lopez and Jordan (with contracts being taken into consideration), there's no way I'd deal Lopez for Jordan straight-up. I like the Bledsoe, but the Pelicans could get a lot more out of this deal... at least a pick or something.
A deal involving four flawed players--in which I think each team gets players that make more sense for them than those they're giving up, and each team downgrades the players they're giving up because they know those players better than the other team does. In other words, probably the most sensible deal for both teams that I've seen in years. Which means it will never happen.
