I realize that they have a monopoly on this event, but I really think they should diversify their discussions and talk more about each of the individual prospects. The man crush on Brady Quinn is alive and well, it seems. They didn't need to talk about or show us Brady Quinn's every breath. There were other great players being drafted between #2 and #22. Other players were getting picked, and they would still have the camera on Quinn, which really diminished the impact that other picks were making. The emphasis on every pick was not on what each team should take, but rather, why/why not they'd take Quinn. I'm very glad that Cleveland finally gave into Quinn's pouting, and decided to give this lost puppy a home by trading up to 22. Otherwise, I would have follow DolfanDale and threw up from too much "chick flick"-type drama coming from an all-sports network.

His GF is easy on the eyes. As for ESPN's actual coverage, it hasn't been as crisp in updating selections in rounds 2 & 3 as well as interviewing players. It was so bad Steve Young left. I enjoyed Keyshawn too. That tampering bit w/ Andy Reid was hysterical. Its too bad Dan Patrick does the NBA. He needs to do the NFL. Confine Berman to baseball.
Is it just me or is ESPN's coverage too interested in emphasizing the players from marquee name schools?

It did not appear as crisp nor as well paced as last yr. I missed the roundtable in the studio like they had in prior years. I prefer day 2 coverage. Suzy Kolber is an improvment over Berman.

ROTR, in answer to your question, even soccer Moms' conversations hovered around Quinn dropping in the draft all day.

Watch NFL Network next year and you will get a better view of the draft. They did talk a lot about Brady Quinn and the Moss trade but they covered other picks as well. They would be talking about Quinn, Moss, etc. and then they would interrupt the conversation any time a team had a new pick, even in the 7th round. Then Mike Mayock or whatever his name is would show film on the player picked and analyze it a little bit. I enjoyed watching it this year.
