I have heard a lot of rumours circulating in the press that Eto'o is unhappy at the camp nou and that Barca are prepared to cash in on him? Is this just media hype, or is there truth in it? If so who will repace the talisman?
Press rumours apart, he's started to look all sulky after he scores, as if to say: " I'm doing a job I'm not well enough paid for by you lot." He reminds me a lot of Ronaldo (the portly Brazilian, not the ManU player) just before he deserted Barsa for the filth, alleging he had been badly treated by Barcelona, omitting to mention he was buggering off for the money. Eto'o has realised that his return to the team after injury has caused some fans to regard him as a kind of Messiah, and he believes it too. A great footballer, our Sam, but a sad apology for a human being, says I. Wouldn't mind at all seeing him push off to the highest bidder, or wherever his agent has placed him. Dificult to replace such a talent in the short term, but if we have to buy, I'd say Villa - David, not Aston.
