    Tampa Bay's Evan Longoria ended a minor league rehab assignment early after feeling discomfort in his left hamstring.

    The Rays said Longoria removed himself from a game with Triple-A Durham after one at-bat on Monday night. The three-time All-Star third baseman has been on the 15-day disabled list since May 1 because a partially torn hamstring and didn't want to "push it" by continuing to play.
