Confirmation on the Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans title fight at UFC 92, the New Year's show in Vegas. Confirmation on Wanderlei Silva vs. Quinton Jackson III at the same event. Barring an unforeseen event, this means both the heavyweight and light heavyweight titles will be on the line at this event, with the headliner being the bout between TUF coaches Minotauro Nogueira and Frank Mir for the Interim Heavyweight Championship and the right to face the winner of Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar in a heavyweight title unification bout. Also in action on the card are C.B. Dollaway, Yushin Okami, Ryo Chonan, and Cheick Kongo (so far).
This is going to be an absolute stud packed PPV, I can't wait to see how it all goes down. That Evans/Griffin fight should be very interesting, you wonder how Griffin is going to use his kicks that he loves on a wrestler like Evans. It might be pretty hard to land alot of those on Evans. Of course Jackson/Silva is going to be a badass fight, and I don't see any way possible that doesn't end in a KO. I think Jackson is much better than he was in pride, and it's going to be a tough fight for Silva to win.
wasn't GSP vs BJ Penn supposed to be on this card? or did it get moved? Either way this card is stacked, really looking forward to it.
