The Florida Everblades can lock up a spot in the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs tonight when they take on the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 p.m. from Germain Arena.

There are three possible scenarios for the Blades can secure their spot in the post-season for the 13th consecutive season:

The easiest way for the Everblades to clinch is to win tonight in regulation OR overtime. If they accomplish that, then they will get in even on the first tiebreaker with Toledo which is non-shootout wins.

If the Everblades win their game in a shootout tonight AND the Toledo Walleye lose their game at Cincinnati in regulation OR overtime/shootout then the Blades would be in.

In the Everblades lose tonight in overtime/shootout, thus gaining one point in the standings, AND both Toledo and the Gwinnett Gladiators lose their games tonight in regulation, then the Everblades would clinch a spot. The Gladiators play at home tonight vs. the Reading Royals.

The Everblades return to action tonight when they host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 p.m. from Germain Arena. Visit www.floridaeverblades.com and www.germainarena.com for more information on ticket packages, pricing and upcoming Germain Arena events.
