Just read a report by Professor Tom Gannon and reckons Everton are worth 50 mill and if they don't get out of Goodison Park they will be in decline. I think they have been in decline for the last 10 years. He said they had 4,000 seat that had obstructed views, I think they are the lucky ones, why anyone would pay to watch rubbish is beyond me. This Gannon guy is also an Everton shareholder and says realistically only the top 4 BIG clubs are worth buying, so clearly the smaller clubs like Everton are not worth buying, this is all coming from an educated Evertonian, that he is a well educated evertonian makes him a one-off. He seems to know what he is talking about which is very unusual for an Evertonian.
To be fair, as an Evertonian, I have to agree with you about the obstructed views. Lets put it this way we beat Arsenal 1-0 on Sunday with a dramatic injury time winner but that just wasn't anywhere near as exciting as the games Liverpool served up against the gooners at Anfield.
