    A former consultant for the University of Kansas has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison for his part in a $2 million ticket scalping conspiracy that he helped to conceal.

    U.S. District Judge Wesley Brown rejected a defense plea for leniency Monday as he sentenced Thomas Blubaugh to the 46-month term sought by prosecutors. He also ordered Blubaugh to pay more than $1.1 million in restitution to the university and the Internal Revenue Service.
