    Skip
    Carlos
    Skinner
    Doug
    TMac
    Corliss
    Lenny

    I mean.... wtf?

I know this doesnt mean they would played like this wit us but come on, this still makes you think of that what IF over and over.

It just pisses the sh!t out of me everytime man... why we had to let Skip go? Honestly, why? I wanted to see more of that VC/Skip hookup, it woulda ripped ACC down literally. But what the deal for real?

TMac's an exception tho, cause he would outshined VC anyways the way he worked so hard every year.

It was Richard Peddie's fault that Skip was let go, he said he didn't want to see a guy that just committed turnovers while he was on the floor and we'd be only getting back because the fans like him. [IMG]

Coriliss we were playing as a SF and traded for Jerome

Carlos Arroyo was just a GG move, McCloskey was talking about how he was surprised they let Arroyo and Skip go since he was the one that told them to get those guys.

Skinner we never game him a chance.

    Doug, traded

TMac didn't want to be here

    Lenny Wilkens???

hmmm... I never realized it was peddies fault for Skips lack of resigning here in TO until og15 informed everybody. Now I see the truth about peddie. THere was an interesting article regarding him in the Tornto Star Sports, about how he should have kept the tradition of game apologies @ the end of the season, and how it should be his apology.

ohterwise why lenny? and I wasn't really into baksketball when most of them were let go, so i cant comment.

t-mac was leaving anyways...i cant believe people still dont realize this

this doesnt just happen to the raps, it happens to every team

big ben wallace, was practically a nobody in washington/orlando
flip murray showing what he can do in seattle
sam cassell in mini. he's having a career season
fred hoiberg in mini. shooting the ball better then ever
bruce bowen in san antonio. who knew he could shoot? certainly not anyone in miami
jermaine o'neal. from 12th man to mvp consideration
ron artest. relatively unknown player in chicago...all star and arguably defensive player of the year
damon jones. shopped around the league...found a home in milwaukee with a solid season
j will...from top 5 in the L in turnovers to #1 in the L in assist to turnover ratio
lamar odom. had arguably his best and most injury free season in years
kenny thomas. not traded for much and hes a rebounding machine with decent low post moves and D
donyell marshall. a double double machine, had a career season in toronto and didnt even spend a whole season with the team.

....see what i mean? need me to go on? its not just the raps man, it happens to every team. if GM's could predict the future however, this trend might go down just a bit [IMG]

    Exactly, even more
Brian Cardinal, never played in Detroit
Brian Skinner, went all around even came here
Rodney White, wasn't given a chance in Detroit
Joe Johnson, Boston let him go to early
Michael Redd, was a FA in 2001 and no one payed attention to him, ended up getting a tiny contract from the Bucks during training camp, man I feel so bad for him. I wanted the Raps to get him then and get rid of Mo-Pete but am I inmanagement?

Matt Harpring, traded by Orlando for Andrew Declerq?, then bounced around

Correy Maggette, traded by Orlando with Dooling for a future first rounder, don't think they've used it yet.

Elton Brand traded for Tyson Chandler

I think the big thing with the T-Mac situation was the fact the Raptors got NOBODY for him, zero, zilch, nada, bupkiss, the big donut

I think even casual fans at the time were able to understand that T-Mac was set to test free agency. Look at how Orlando is handling him now. If they can't get a firm commitment, they're looking to trade. That's the way it should have been handled in Toronto

Look at what Detroit got for Grant Hill in the same situation, Atkins and Ben Wallace.........

Benched in favor of Curry? Not if the Bulls were trying to win. That's what they originally did when they drafted Curry, brought him off the bench behind Miller. The front court of Artest, Brand and Miller were just starting to gel when Krause traded Brand.

Damon aka pothead wanted to be traded anyways... plus he sucked after that rookie year.

Lmao I never said this just happens to Raps(where did I say that?), it was just specifically for Raps, that's all.

P.S. post players from other teams who did this if you like.

He's still ten times better than whatever PG we've had since his departure, and I'd like to see you object to that. I'd take him over Jalen running the show anyday. Still got love for Jalen, but just spitting the truth.

why would i object to that? its not even what the thread is about...the thread is about players who have played better once they left toronto, you said damon, and fact of the matter is, he played better in toronto. sure he'd be a welcome addition to the team, whos arguing that?
