Well I have to say these playoffs have been pretty entertaining, especially the Western Conference.

    Ex Supes:

Flip: Looks to be the same old Flip - moments of brilliance along with wild inconsistency.

Vlad: Same old Vlad. His defense seems to have gotten worse? Guys get by him easily and I saw Brand admonishing him for being out of position on help a few times. Looks to have found his 3pt stroke, though. When all is said and done it's probably a good thing he and Bauman turned down 42 mil.

    As far as the playoffs:

I can't believe the Suns and their ability to hit Big 3's. How Ewing let Raja Bell get the ball so easily and a clear look is beyond me. Although I suppose it's easy to look at things in hindsight.

Brand is a monster, no wonder Wilcox couldn't find any time. I hope the Clips can rebound from that tough loss last night and take it to a game 7.

Spurs/Mavs is great. Parker and Ginoble don't seem to be at full strength, and Timmy pretty much has to carry them offensively. Mavs are getting a ton of layups too, which is odd to see against the Spurs. Gotta give the Mavs and Dirk credit, though.

Miami/NJ wasn't that great a series. A step to slow Shaquille playing 20 mins a game, Wade playing well but he'll need to hit jumpers against Detroit. I never thought NJ was going to win, even after the first game where they shot unbelievable. You know Kidd isn't going to shoot 9-14 or whatever he was from distance in Game 1.

Overall, I think a Mavs/Suns and Detroit/Miami final four is probably in the cards. I pick Mavs/Detroit with Detroit taking it all.

Wow two great games today, real intense.

Cavs really surprised me, just stay close for 3 quarters then let Lebron take over in the 4th. He made a great pass to Gooden for the winner, nothing fancy just making the right play.

Also, WTF was Snow thinking. That would've been the screw up of the century if Detroit scored. He had the ball in his hands all he had to do was dribble the clock out.

Mavs/Spurs was great. Timmy was unbelievable going 12-12 FG to start the game but the Mavs wouldn't go away. I guess Pop wants to play small ball with the Dallas but I'm not sure they have the firepower and just about every Mav can take whoever's guarding them off the dribble. Should be a fine game 6.

there are so many ex-supes in the playoff (from last year) *sigh* but what can you do, you win some & lose some.

Oh yeah I forgot about AD. He played pretty well for the Wiz, they even had him on Lebron at times.

Back to the games, I still can't understand what Snow (another ex-Supe, BTW) was thinking. I can only think he thought he had Flip downcourt or something but in that situation you can't mess around.

I get the feeling that everyone thinks he's some kind of floor general just because he was one of the few guys who could play opposite Iverson. During these playoffs I've seen him make a lot of rookie mistakes.

Did anyone see the double OT game between the Suns/Clips...

Some of the back to back worst turnovers by both teams that I have ever seen in a key game....

It did keep it exciting, though.

Brand is playing awesome...Vlade just vanishes at times, sounds very familiar.
