i know alot of people that are Blazer fans say we need another scorer off the bench(i am one of them forsure) i do love the development of mccollum, crabbe(loved him in high school placed again one of my high schools) but i think we need another wing scorer. someone who can come in and get buckets any given night. there are two players i think can be had for the right price and still wouldnt have to give up any of our starters.

    - Jr Smith (i know alot of you are gonna bash me about this one but i think if he was on a team where he didnt have to be one of the best 3 players i think he'd be alot better. and i do take into consideration the chemistry issues but i dont think with our main core they would let him get outta line. he 6'6 can play 2 or 3 and can put up points. and every team needs a crazy i think having smith would make us contenders.
    - Gerald Henderson (i like him slasher can get to the rim and has really good size for a sg. that way crabbe can play only sg. but i think he can give you 10-12 points a night in 20-22 mins a game. i know he doesnt have the shooting but we need players who can get us easy points and to the basket besides lillard. and i think he'd do much better on a contender off the bench, i think he would be easy to get considering how bad the hornets are and hes on a good cheap contract.

honorable mention Oj Mayo (because he can shoot, slash, and is use to coming off the bench and i think he would be motivated to play with a contender. and wes would make him better becuz he has a better offensive game then wes but wes is better. plus hes good friends with Neil. idk if we can get him tho cuz the bucks are playing pretty good.) what you think rip city ?

The name OJ Mayo has run across my mind many times. But I always pause because Im just not sure how much knucklehead is still in there and how he would fit. There would have to be some serious conversation with him and Olshey beforehand to be convinced that he was willing to come in and play the right way with this team.

Both JR & Henderson basically have the same contract. $6M this year with a player option for $6M next year. OJ is guaranteed $8M this year & next (at least according to Sham Sports).

Based on that, I would be willing to go with JR Smith. I think if he has a "good year" then he will opt out and get a new contract. He is the most talented of the 3 options, and has the most friendly contract. Portland's locker room is tight enough that they can handle 1 "crazy" player.

Maybe Kaman is that 1 crazy that is already on Portland's roster....

Seth Curry is not better than CJ. And he is even smaller.

By the way LMA is the only player on our team in the top 20 in MPG at 35.2. A nice change from previous years

J.R. Smith and chemistry are not compatible. I could imagine how quickly he could turn a good thing bad.

CJ needs to come back and get into a groove quick. I think he can put up 10ppg easily if he consistently got 15-20 mins.
