Kelly is in the process of finalizing a deal that would make him the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A source close to the situation said Kelly will make the jump to the NFL if he can come to terms on a contract. Kelly has been Oregon's head coach for three years, winning the conference title in all three, reaching three straight BCS games. I don't believe it, but it's possible....as possible as Chip leaving a program and "kids" he loves, to an area that no one is sure he has visited lately, to a team not recently discussed all before LOI day which would screw Oregon. It doesn't make sense...

I'd like to see if we would go after Dungy or see if he would be interested if Kelly is gone. No doubt Kelly is the greatest coach to have gone through the program, but I still think that we'll be okay.

Entertaining the rumor...we have some of the top assistants anywhere, that Chip loves......that could hurt, bad.
