wow this one has really F*cked up my sleeping patterns. ive been sleeping 4 hours at night and 4 during the day since wednesday. just woke up from my four hour day sleep time, figure to go back to sleep aroudn 3 am and be up by 7 againF*ck this it sucks
School breaks are great. Yeah it screws up your sleep pattern a little, but it's easy to get back to the normal once school starts again. For me, breaks like thanksgiving give me a chance to refocus on school work. That's because in the beginning of the semester I do really good in school - than I gradually start slacking and getting lower grades - breaks give me a chance to relax than refocus everything in the right place. Plus you need them once in a while.
I get into these weird sleeping patterns 2 weeks ago.I went to bed at 2:00 AM once, went to school, and after that I was really tired. I went to bed at like 5:00 PM, and then woke up at 3:00 AM. I didnt go to sleep after that, and just went to school. Then when I got home I slept during the evening, got up at 2:00 AM and then went to school again. But I made sure I got out of that because I have to see Raptor games.
I get no sleep during the week or on weekends so breaks don't bother me. I'm used to running on 40 hours sleep a week.

How can you hate not going to school?!</div>Well I enjoy school. All my classes are awesome, my teachers rule, and my friends are in all my classes, so its a good time. That being said I am pumped for the break and had a ton of fun as well on the break, but these stupid sleeping patterns just completely F*ck with me.Don't misconstrue the thread title, I love vacations, I just hate when my sleeping patterns get screwed up, it fucks with my life so much. I couldn't go to work on Friday, when I could have worked about 8 hours and made f*cking bank, all because I had to go to sleep.
I know what yankeehater means once your on a break and you don't have school you start staying up all night and waking up all different times, it does kind of screw up your sleeping patterns but like Reppin the D said it's pretty easy to get everything back on track.
How do you not like breaks? If you go to bed at 2 in the morning, then why dont u just wake up really late?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ballerman2112 @ Nov 25 2006, 05:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>How do you not like breaks? If you go to bed at 2 in the morning, then why dont u just wake up really late?</div>Because I'm wicked busy and made some stupid schedule moves that I didn't realize would F*ck with me. Thursday I slept in the afternoon and couldn't sleep at night because of that so I stayed up and went to Best Buy at 5 am on Friday, went back home around 9, hit with my coach till noon, slept till 4ish, went out, didn't go to bed until around 330 am today, then had to wake up to go to work at 630. came home from work at 2 then slept till like 4. going out soon, who knows what the rest of the day holds. also idk why but I have some kind of disease I think that doesn't allow me to sleep past like 7. its seriously pathetic and I hate it. I could go to bed at like 430 am and I'd be up at like 6.
Yeah, my sleeping pattern isn't that off, but I'd much like it to be more consistent. I don't do anything all day, so that doesn't help. Usually when I'm at school I'm tired all day, now I'm wide-awake for far too long. Bleh!Luckily I get to go to the Mavs game tonight! (it's not a hook 'em because his thumb is out)
I usually have more trouble with sleeping patterns and stuff like that during christmas break, since it's longer.
Albert Einstein slept for 4 hours every night. He also took two three hour naps during the day.:dribble:

So much crap to do in college... nice to take time off and just get everything off your damn mind, especially with those damn finals right around the corner. :ranting:
I heard you get way more school breaks in college then you do in highschool and the breaks are longer also.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I heard you get way more school breaks in college then you do in highschool and the breaks are longer also.</div> In some ways, I think high school had more days off either as a in-service day or a three-four day weekend. Colleges rarely have many days off for break, and never in my day cancel/delay classes for storms/fogs. School term does end earlier for us, I get like 2 months off this upcoming Dec-Feb if I don't take winter session(I don't because they charge you twice as much for classes). So I guess in that way and how we don't have to stay in school all day if we don't have class(opposed to 4-7 straight up) makes up for it.
With what you just said ROk, I can't wait till next year when I'm in college it seems like college no matter what college is basically the same kind of fun atmosphere.
