Get over your stupid man crush on Steve Blake! What's the point of of getting Andre Miller if we're not going to play him down the stretch!???
Are you really complaining that Blake got 10 more mins and nearly closed the game for us? Blake provides us something Andre can't.....lockdown D. Learn the game, then post.
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Learn the game, then post.
Was it just me, or did going to that zone defense kill us? It seemed like every time we went to it they made a run..
Yep--hated the zone. Hated the fact that Blake was the reason for the zone. Hated Blake being out there.
Miller, Blake and Roy makes no sense for the end. Blake is only in there to be able to shoot three's, and Rudy could do that just as well or better. I do, however, understand Blake, Fernandez, Roy, because in some situations we need two guys that can hit a three after a kickout..
I'd rather have Fernandez, Roy, and Webster, because Martell is just as capable of bricking crunchtime 3's as Blanky is, but he is at least capable of guarding SF's man-to-man.
Outlaw out, Blake and Nate get the derision after an OT loss in the 5th game in 7 days on the road. Some of you are predictable to a fault. Why even watch the team play? It just can't be fun to be so negative, can it?
Why do posters here use over-dramatic terms to describe the relationship between a coach they don't like and certain players they don't like?
If you think the Blake and Nate criticism is just because of one game, you are mistaken. I just really didn't like the zone defense and I would assume that was Nate's decision. I don't think you were considering me one of these negative people, cause I don't consider myself negative at all, but still the Blake and Nate criticizers keep their opinions.. It's not just because of this game.
Well, not knowing your posting past, I won't dispute that fact. But some posters in this thread have bemoaned the Blazers' lack of perimeter defense. One way to neutralize that is to play a zone. That said, Oden still got into foul trouble and was outplayed by Horford.
