<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">NEW YORK - Rapper Fabolous was shot early Tuesday as he stood at a Manhattan parking garage, spurring a sequence of events that left him both hospitalized in stable condition and under arrest, police said. The 28-year-old rapper, whose legal name is John Jackson, was shot once in the thigh when a male with a gun approached him and three others and opened fire, police spokesman Sgt. Mike Wysokowski said. The four jumped into a vehicle and fled, attracting the attention of police when they ran a red light. Officers stopped them and discovered two loaded guns in the vehicle, both of which were apparently unlicensed, Wysokowski said. All four men were arrested, and charges were pending. The rapper was taken to a hospital. Police were searching for the shooter. Police did not identify the three men arrested with the rapper, saying only that they are 18, 23 and 29 years old.</div> http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061017/ap_on_...u/fabolous_shot
Fabolous is 28? Wow, I thought he was like 23-24. But at least it wasn't fatal, hopefully he makes a speedy recovery.

sorry to hear that he got shot, but maybe this will actually give him something to rap about besides "F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S."

Fabolous Connected with Robbery of Telfair? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Celtics guard Sebastian Telfair reportedly had a $50,000 gold chain ripped off his neck early Tuesday morning in New York City. ESPN reports the incident happened outside the nightclub, Justin's, which is owned by rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs. Telfair reportedly left Tuesday night's Celtics game against the Knicks after halftime to head to a police station to view lineups, which contained the rapper Fabolous and members of his entourage. The 21-year-old Telfair was unable to identify the suspect. Earlier that night, Fabolous was shot and wounded in the leg outside of the same club. The 28-year-old Brooklyn rapper, whose legal name is John Jackson, was in police custody after being treated at Bellevue Hospital for a gunshot wound to the thigh. Jackson and his three companions told police that they had just left Justin's, shortly after midnight when they were accosted in a nearby lot by a gunman, who fired and ran away. The foursome jumped into a 2005 Dodge Magnum and took off, attracting the attention of police when they ran a red light. Officers stopped them and discovered two semiautomatic pistols in the vehicle, both apparently unlicensed, police said. Each of the men was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a defaced firearm, police said. The other men police arrested are Kevin Bass, 18, Percell German, 23, and Rascharm Davis, 29, all of Brooklyn. </div> Link It looks like they are saying Fab had something to do with Telfair's stolen chain

He comes straight out of high school and all of a sudden gets a **** load of money. What do you expect him to do? Obviously spending $50,000 on a chain isn't the smartest thing to do, but seeing where he was coming from, I don't think it should be too surprising
